china steel construction society delegation visits japan
at the invitation of japanese society of steel construction (jssc), mr. li qingwei, secretary general of the china steel construction society (cscs), led a delegation to japan for a visit from august 30 to september 5, 2023. both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on developing and consolidating friendly relations in the steel structure industry and reached a positive consensus.
cscs has successively visited the association for overseas technical cooperation and sustainable partnerships (aots), ministry of economy, trade and industry (meti), and japanese society of steel construction (jssc). cscs and jssc had a discussion on the memorandum of understanding on cooperation between cscs and jssc. steel structure experts from both sides conducted technical exchanges on production capacity certification, steel plates, painting, intelligent construction, and carbon emissions of steel structures, etc.
the delegation also conducted on-site investigation on the steel structure engineering under construction and steel construction factories in japan.
